Gary Firkins, Director
Gary has 17 years’ experience working in media – and a lifetime’s experience in golf. A former deputy editor of Golf World magazine, Gary established Landmark Media in 2003 to serve leading golf brands and businesses. He is from a golfing family that includes five professionals including two Ryder Cup players (Bernard & Geoff Hunt).
Gary is a 2-handicap golfer at The Luffenham Heath Golf Club, Rutland, and previously played for the Loughborough University and English Universities golf teams.

John McKenzie, Director
John has 23 years’ experience of the media industry. A former associate editor and equipment editor of Today’s Golfer magazine, John joined Landmark Media in 2008, having been a divisional managing director for Bauer Media, publisher of the UK’s leading golf magazine stable.
Manuela Whittaker, Business Manager
Manuela is a highly trained PR professional with a rich level of experience in B2B and technology markets. Manuela is multi-lingual and speaks fluent English, Spanish, French and Arabic, having grown up in Dubai.
Matthew Millard, Account Manager
Matthew is an award- winning journalist and former editor of The PGA Professional, the official magazine of the Professional Golfers’ Association and an influential trade publication distributed to all PGA members in the UK
Nick Nixon, Account Executive
Nick is an experienced PR executive with a BA(Hons) degree in sports journalism. He has considerable experience in broadcast media and has managed the PR interests of clients in consumer, B2B and travel sectors.
Martin Fox, Associate Marketing Consultant
Martin has been in marketing for 25 years. His previous agency was responsible for the brand development of the likes of David Leadbetter, Nick Faldo and the Lambourn Club.
Martin’s skills lie in encapsulating the right messages, identifying the key target audiences and then getting the message across in the most appropriate way – practical marketing that makes a genuine difference.
