  • Raise awareness of Marrakech as an international golf destination
  • Develop strong relationships with key European golf tour operators in target markets.

Strategy

  • Create a new suite of world-class golf photography to share with key media, travel trade and to use on a new Assoufid website.
  • Manage a series of press and travel trade trips to experience Assoufid Golf Club and the vibrant city of Marrakech
  • Feed a stream of content, news and information to key media contacts across Europe and in Morocco.

Outcomes

  • Assoufid Golf Club won a host of important awards over a three-year period, namely ‘Africa’s Best New Golf Course 2014’; ‘Morocco’s Best Golf Course 2015 and 2016’; ‘Africa’s Best Golf Course 2016’. It also received a number of TripAdvisor Certificates of Excellence
  • Featured in an IMG GolfingWorld film (link right) about Marrakech and the opening of Assoufid Golf Club, which was shared globally across the IMG Golfing World network
  • Print, Digital and Broadcast coverage with a media value in excess of £650,000 generated over a two-year period.
