Original Penguin Golf Ambassador Kristoffer Reitan reveals Open scripting for major push at Royal Birkdale
(London, UK, July 13, 2026) – Original Penguin®, known for its unique blend of style and modern performance, today reveals the outfits golf ambassador, Kristoffer Reitan, will wear at Royal Birkdale Golf Club, July 16-19.
Kristoffer will sport some of the brand’s forthcoming High Summer/Autumn products in his quest to secure a major, which comes hot on the heels of his historic first PGA TOUR victory earlier this year at the 2026 Truist Championship at Quail Hollow Club.
Reitan (28), born in Oslo, Norway, is one of Europe’s most exciting and dynamic young players. In 2018, he became the first Norwegian ever to compete in the U.S. Open, setting the stage for a fast-rising professional career that has also seen him win twice on the DP World Tour.
Reitan is part of a strong line-up of Original Penguin ambassadors that includes PGA TOUR winners Brian Campbell and Nico Echavarria (also qualified for this year’s Open), PGA TOUR member Max McGreevy and Johnny Keefer, the reigning Korn Ferry Tour Rookie and Player of the Year.
