Star-Studded Global Field Shines at 2024 Gleneagles International Pro-Am
Four-day celebration of competitive golf gives international field of amateurs, PGA professionals and celebrities a taste of the finest Scottish hospitality at the UK & Ireland’s No.1 Golf Resort*

A global field of amateur golfers, PGA professionals and celebrity guests competed in the eighth playing of the Gleneagles International Pro Am in partnership with Johnnie Walker Blue Label at the iconic Scottish hotel and sporting estate.
During a thrilling week of championship golf and luxury hospitality, Gleneagles welcomed 22 teams to ‘The Glorious Playground’ to contest a total prize fund of £20,000.
VIP guests included globally-recognised musician Tom Grennan, best-selling author and acclaimed golf coach Daniel Grieve and sports presenter Eilidh Barbour, among teams who came from 11 different nations – a testament to the growing worldwide reputation of the event.
The teams competed across all three 18-hole championship courses at Gleneagles: the James Braid-designed and Top 100 ranked King’s and Queen’s; and The PGA Centenary Course, the only European course to host both the Ryder and Solheim Cups (2014 & 2019 respectively).
Scotland native and DP World Tour player Daniel Young secured a decisive victory with a remarkable score of 18 under par, winning by 11 shots over fellow PGA Professional Graham Fox.
In the team competition, a quartet from fellow Solheim Cup venue Finca Cortesin (Ruben Holgado, Bob Crompton, Monika Wojcik and Ioannis Blatsios) triumphed with a combined score of 52 under par.
Among the highlights were the stellar performances from the four female professionals in the international field, all of whom finished in the top 15 – namely Annabel Dimmock (T4th), Annabel Fuller (7th) and two Gleneagles ambassadors, Catriona Matthew (T12th) and Hannah McCook (15th).

Both on and off the course, guests enjoyed five-star Scottish hospitality and a series of unique experiences, including Scottish whisky tastings, live music & DJ sets, an appearance by Fatima the Golden Eagle and a decadent five-course ‘Taste of Scotland’ dinner with address to the Haggis and a Beating of the Retreat to round off a memorable event.
Andrew Jowett, Director of Golf at Gleneagles, commented: “The Gleneagles International Pro Am continues to grow in reputation and stature. This year’s event showcased not only top-tier golf but also the unique blend of luxury and hospitality that Gleneagles is renowned for. We are thrilled with the success of the 2024 tournament and eagerly anticipate welcoming participants back next year.”
The dates for the 2025 International Pro Am have been set for July 8-11 when golfers can look forward to another week of exceptional golf and world-class hospitality.
