Gleneagles, the iconic Scottish country estate set beneath the beautiful Ochil Hills in Perthshire, has been a luxury destination for 100 years. The 850-acre estate opitomises the natural beauty for which Scotland is famed and offers guests a glorious playground of pursuits and activities, including three championship golf courses.

Golf Centenary Celebrations

2019 saw the centenary of The King’s and The Queen’s golf courses, both James Braid-designed heathland classics. Landmark was at the heart of this special moment, planning creative initiatives with media and influencers to celebrate this very special occasion.

The Solheim Cup

Gleneagles became the only venue in Europe to have hosted two of global golf’s biggest team matches (it welcomed the Ryder Cup in 2014) when the Solheim Cup was staged in 2019. Landmark played a crucial role pre, during and post event, creating professional content for media and Gleneagles partners.

Top 100

Gleneagles has maintained the title of ‘#1 Golf Resort in the UK & Ireland’ for four straight years. Landmark created an 18-month strategy and plan that brought key influencer and raters to the estate, not only showcasing its golf courses, but The Gleneagles Hotel, and its wealth of leisure, food and drink experiences.

“The hotel in the glens is out of this world and you can do little more than relax in five-star luxury or busy yourself in anything from gundog training to horse riding and tennis to archery. Very possibly the World No.1 – very definitely the finest on UK shores.”
